The service life of different materials and sizes of hoses will also be different, and it is necessary to choose the hose that suits the life according to the use. Pharmed BPT tubes have a longer life and better air tightness than domestic silicone tubes. For example, when performing anaerobic bacteria culture experiments, the airtightness of the pump tube is important to prevent outside oxygen from entering the culture through the tubing.

Therefore, when selecting pump tubing and drive selection, the influence of pump tubing hardness on the drive should also be considered.
